1. RESPECT each other, including the owner and @ (admins). Statements which are off-color, racist, homophobic or otherwise
offensive are not permitted.
2. Room was created or intended for the GLBTQ (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, and questioning) Latino/as, but
ALL are welcome to join us.
3. ALL Women are allowed.
4. Room is Adult-rated (18+ only) room.
5. Visitors are encouraged to start their cams and mics. Nude cams are a + !!!
EXCEPTIONS:
MIC: You may take mic if/when its free, if it is being used by another chat member (non-admin) please wait until that
person finishes. Follow limit rule (below) if necessary.
***The mic limit is 5 mins if TWO (2) or more hands are up--admins will monitor your time and/or ask you to get off the
mic at their discretion! At the time when the last of the TWO hands go up, time already consumed will be counted/considered
part of your 5 mins. Use of mic is a priviledge in this chat room, NOT A RIGHT YOU HAVE!! We want and welcome mic use by
all visitors, but we must moderate over the mic as we see fit to maintain order.***
If an admin is using the mic, he/she may use it for as long as they see fit as long as they're playing appropriate music
or other audio/visual files. Otherwise, they will honor the 1 hr. use per TWO or more hands rule. NOTE: An admin may or
may NOT allow mic access for only ONE person. The more hands that are up the better, this lets the admin know where the need
to use the mic is. Keep in mind that there are existing paltalk chat rooms where the use of cam and/or mic is completely
restricted!!!
CAMS: You may NOT show a porn video or images that are not EXCLUSIVELY of YOURSELF. Admins are the only people authorized
play porn files.
MIC AND CAM NOTICE: If you find the nature of what is being said or played on mic offensive, untasteful, or disrespectful
please let an admin know (the guest may be "breaking" a room rule) and use your MUTE button until user is finished.
If nude cam images disturb you please close that cam completely. Make sure you familiarize yourself with what is allowed
in our chat and steer away from the material that offends you.
6. Music, jokes, files, etc. are welcomed, considering they are appropriate to the Latino/Hispanic audience which it
MAINLY serves, to be moderated by admin(s) present in the room. When in doubt about what to share, ask an admin.
7. Our chat encourages you to visit our webpage often for chat updates, Q & A, future plans/developments, recent
additions to our admin family...and so much more!!!
8. English and/or Spanish only. GREETING someone in their native language is ok, but regular conversation in such language
other than the two specified here are prohibited during peek hours (3pm-3am) OR if there are more than TWO people in the room
including yourself and the other person at ANY given time. If English nor Spanish your native language, you are welcome to
speak to others in such native language provided that these conversations are held in PRIVATE--i.e. IM messege, whisper, or
private room.
9. ALL visitors must display their age on profile. No EXCEPTIONS!!! Only admins may opt to hide their profile information
if they so choose, but only when they have signed in as admins and NOT guests.
10. No bold, CAPS, underlines, FlOoDs (repetative and large/long text messages), RED text(allowed until futher notice),
spamming or advertisements of any type--these are reserved for admins only.
ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE: We welcome businesses, organizations, and other chat rooms to advertise their services and/or products
with us! ADVERTISEMENTS appropriate to our Latino/Hispanic GLBTQ chat community MAY be allowed to be shared within chat room--
only AFTER and IF/WHEN room OWNER/SENIOR ADMIN present in room approve of such. You are NOT to advertise otherwise in any
way.
12. Request permission from owner or admins WITHIN CHAT ROOM before beginning a private chat with them. Please respect
the fact that admins are responsible for multiple duties at the same time and do not request a private message or private
room with them unless it can't be handled in any other way. Also, please be understanding if they must decline to private
messages with you right away. It is very stressful for them to have to be in multiple PVT's and monitor the room at the same
time.
13. NO PRIVATE MESSEGES WITHOUT PRIOR CONSENT OF THE INDIVIDUAL--PERIOD!!! Please send a request for ALL private messages
or private chat to the member(s) of the room you wish to communicate with in the room first--before doing so privately. You
may chose to use the wisper option if you want it to remain private. Some members prefer to be asked first and others dont!
Please respect those that chose this option.
VIOLATORS OF PALTALK GUIDELINES OR CHAT RULES
WILL BE BOUNCED FROM CHAT FOR A PERIOD OF 24 HRS,
REPEATING OFFENDERS WILL BE BANNED PERMANENTLY FROM CHAT. THESE RULES AND/OR CONDITIONS MAY CHANGE AT ANY GIVEN TIME
AT THE DISCRETION OF CHAT OWNER.
